Overcoming the fear of failure

Updated: Apr 12, 2021

The fear of failure can be debilitating. It can prevent us from ever truly chasing our dreams, stepping into our true light, or going for it 1000%. When we remove fear from the equation, the possibilities are endless.

Being true to our calling takes work, but if we do ONE thing every single day that moves us in the direction of our dreams, we WILL get there.

I’ve lost more times than I’ve won, and I’ve failed countless times. However, I live by mindset that I learn more from my failures than my wins and always look for the lessons that I can take from each experience.

There is so much uncertainty in the world today, and it's really easy to make excuses to not pursue new passions or goals. If you allow the excuses to be a louder voice in your head, you will never get where you want to go and regret will be a theme in your life.

I encourage you to take time by yourself over the next few days to really explore your thoughts. Write down what you would do if failure wasn’t an option, why your dreams scare you, and what you can do to overcome those thoughts and emotions so you can live your true purpose.

It’s amazing how much power can be removed from the fear of failure simply by just writing it down. Once you’ve written your thoughts on paper, crumble it up and throw it away. It’s time to MOVE ON and go for it!

This is one of my favorite exercises to do with my clients, and I hope everyone reading this will do it too. We are truly limitless once we realize that the only person that can actually limit us is ourselves.

I believe in you!

xo,

Allison
