Public Relations + Marketing Manager

The PR + Marketing Manager will develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement, expand our reach and increase revenue. They’ll split their time between marketing, design, traditional public relations, and pitching brands. This is an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our client's and company’s success. This position is flexible (but times must be consistent) and averages 10-20 hours per week. There is also an opportunity for this position to become a full-time role late Summer 2023.


The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites

  • Assist with the design and execution of data-driven social media campaigns

  • Create and distribute engaging content such as social posts, blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets 

  • Assist with the design of e-books, digital magazines, workbooks, courses, websites, and promotional materials

  • Create and schedule weekly, branded emails for agency and clients

  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

  • Assist with guest outreach and coordination for the podcast

  • Assist with post-production coordination with other team members to ensure the quality and timely publication of each episode

  • Run point on episode promotion and track effectiveness

  • Secure additional, valuable podcast and speaking opportunities for AWC

  • Secure media coverage for agency, owner, and clients

  • Secure brand partnerships for agency and owner

  • Assist with client campaigns including but not limited to social media research, content creation, and public relations outreach

  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed


Attributes, skills, and talents required:

  • Must be a quick learner

  • Must look for solutions v. waiting for answers

  • Canva proficient

  • Zoom proficient

  • Excellent internet research skills

  • Well-versed in social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook 

  • Detail-oriented

  • Creativity is required 

  • Excellent written and verbal skills 

  • Website experience is a plus

  • Active Campaign and Mailchimp experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of analytics software is a plus

  • Video editing is a plus

  • Social media ad experience is a plus

  • Must have a positive attitude and bring joy to work each and every day



This position will start part-time but has the ability to develop into a full-time job. Most of the time it will be remote but you will need to be available for occasional, in-person meetings as needed. Must have own transportation, laptop, and internet access at all times.

Online Business Manager

Our virtual Online Business Manager (OBM) is the engine that powers our agency's growth. They are responsible for making sure all of our daily operations, projects, and collaborations run smoothly — paving a path to success so Allison can focus on attaining new business opportunities. The OBM works hand-in-hand with Allison to establish goals based on key performance indicators (KPIs), measure progress towards those goals, and ensure team members work in harmony towards them - an absolute necessity if we want this ship running optimally!

As an online business manager, you are the strategic backbone of our team's success! Your goal is to ensure that tasks get done right and on time. You have a versatile set of duties -- ranging from planning projects to monitoring performance metrics - which help lead our organization toward its goals. With resourcefulness and dedication, you'll be able to make sure each job gets completed efficiently and effectively with ultimate success in mind.

  • Managing projects: You’re in charge of launching, implementing, and overseeing new projects. Examples can include website upgrades, membership portals, and marketing initiatives.

  • Overseeing operations: You’ll oversee basic business operations and will manage invoicing, onboarding, and maintaining client relationships.

  • Tracking metrics: You’ll identify which KPIs are the most beneficial to track for specific projects, departments, and business areas. You will monitor the company's progress, provide updates to clients and offer suggestions for improvement to senior leaders within the company.

  • Managing people: You will also be in charge of managing a team of people and freelancers to ensure they meet their deadlines. This can involve providing support, allocating resources, conducting performance reviews, and monitoring daily activities.
